Today I got a day-off from work and stay at home. So, I have time to write the latest news and discoveries.
I got cold and couldn't rest for 3 days because of my ASP thesis. Yesterday, we finally finished it! I went to the copy center to print it! I was totally satisfied when I was assigning the work... Now, it just remains the presentation. I can not still believe that we finished the project, we have a hotel on the moon! I wanna thank to all Space Hotel Design Group, especially to team B. We are legendary!

More efficient moments, less fb, more research:)
These day, I started using internet more efficiently, less facebook, more research:)) I was cheking IF Design Award. I found some simple but interesting design concept and wanted to share.
Designers: You Zen Chen, You-Ren Chen, Liu Rong-cheng, Chun-Chia Hsu
Idea: The “Colors key” uses a color-matching way allowing users to quickly find out the correct key for opening the door. The color-matching way on “Colors key” means the same color on the head of key and the keyhole of door. The sticker for the keyhole can be pushed out from the head of key and be stuck on the keyhole. When the color of key matches the color of keyhole, the door can be opened easily. The needed key can be found from a pile of keys by obviously visual color changes.

Designers: Lin, Yang-An / Liao, Ching-Chan
Idea: Most of people have the experiences of using the shower apparatus when they need to supply water or wash something. And they have also have the problems of being splashed all over by water when they forget to switch the shower nozzle over to the hydrant. The objective of this plan is to design the shower apparatus to combine the new style of faucet with its operation. Turn down to the location when you want to use the hydrant; Turn up and connect the drainpipe of the shower nozzle when you want to take a shower. The motivation of this design is to guide the users by changing their vision and operating Materials - Metal & Rubber

Designers: Seung Hee Son, Yong hee Cho
Idea: On a rainy day, when someone goes inside with a wet umbrella, the floor gets dirty and the water drops annoy others. Thus, people usually use a disposable vinyl; however, it gets wasted too much and gives negative effects on our environment. By turning over one portion of the umbrella inside out, the dry cloth appears and wraps the wet umbrella. Therefore, it helps solving the problem of the current umbrella and as it transforms as a bag, it becomes easy to carry. Not only it is portable but also it can be a very fashionable item because the inner layer, the dry cloth can be decorated with various colors and patterns.

Idea: 2Sense Protections’ idea was to create a combination to protect both the eyes and the ears. In many working situations people at the same time have contact with noise and mechanical pollution, before 2Sense it was necessary to use two different protections. The draft idea was to design ear protectors for multiple usage - it unites ear and eye protection in one product. To achieve this aim the view pane was made from polycarbonate. This can not only be used as a view pane but also as a head bow.

No, I didn't dream! An ant in my ear:)

Yesterday night, I went to bed a little bit late with thousand of idea on my mind. At the beginning, I had some difficulties sleeping. Nearly after 20 minutes, exactly at the threshold of my sleep, I suddenly felt strange motions inside my right ear! It was like in horror fims, when the victim is attacted by evils, feels some mutuation in his body. I stood up, run to the bathroom to clean it with a stick, nothing... But I was sure it was happening something in my ear! Perhaps It was the beginning of a new era in mylife! Perhaps my brain was getting bigger or I would be deaf in the next future! With these thoughts, I sticked again my finger in and found out an ant! Yes, an ant in my ear! I checked my bed and around. I couldn't find any ant around. Who know how come the ant entered to my ear in the middle of the night? Being happy or not?! It was not a new era, just a little ant:)
